It’s nice to see that other people can understand where I’m coming from. IMO, that is even worse than getting a straight sentence from start to finish because the ones in question have their hopes high only to see them dashed to bits… And then some! Nowhere near what he deserved, but both the murder victim and the attempted murder victim received some small modicum of justice more than what they thought they were gonna get. After he was caught for this, he went right back in…Serving somewhere in the neighborhood of 21 years total for the crimes he had committed.
But the judge was so shocked that they did all of this and then dared to ask for a reduction in time that he RAISED their original sentences by an additional four years instead! Also, one of the group got out, got into an altercation with another guy over (you guessed it) a girl, tortured the guy for hours, while bragging that he knew ” How to get away with murder! I’ve done it before you bastard!”.
After the crew was sentenced, they tried to appeal to have their sentences reduced. Well, this item might make you feel a little better about the case.
